FAQs

With hemp-based products becoming more accessible throughout the United States, we are just beginning to unlock the power and potential of products like full-spectrum CBD hemp oil. In addition to their CBD content, full-spectrum hemp products contain a wide range of beneficial terpenes, flavonoids, antioxidants, and phytonutrients. With years of experience in the cannabis industry, here are some of the most common questions we get from our longtime customers:
Not by a long shot. As the market for CBD expands at breakneck speed, so does the opportunity for misinformation and dangerous practices. As respected industry experts, The Happy Camper has extremely high standards for sourcing and producing our CBD products. We serve as both educators and watchdogs, staying ahead of industry trends, legal regulations, and safety information—and we are deeply committed to passing that knowledge along to our customers. In a landscape where things are constantly changing, we want to be the steady, experienced choice ready to lead our friends and neighbors into CBD’s next chapter.
The human body is equipped with a number of receptors for cannabidiol, which can be found in a lot of naturally occurring sources, but is most abundant in the cannabis plant. Research has just begun to connect the dots, demonstrating that when a person’s endocannabinoid receptors are satisfied, it contributes to better overall health and performance. Unlike its psychoactive sister tetrahydrocannabinol (or THC), cannabidiol (CBD) does not produce feelings of being “high,” and it’s safe even when consumed in large amounts. You can trust all Happy Camper products to contain no more than the legal maximum of 0.03% THC content.

Only you can decide if CBD is right for you, but we can tell you our customers have used our products to address a range of health problems—everything from sore muscles and arthritis to anxiety and poor sleep.

Also unlike other dietary supplements, more CBD doesn’t necessarily equal better or stronger. Plenty of research has been done on this extraordinary plant—and there’s much more to learn—but experts express optimism at the positive side effects from even small daily amounts of CBD. If you’re unsure how much CBD your body needs to perform at its best, simply “start low and go slow”—beginning with just a few drops and increasing your daily dosage until you begin to experience the desired health benefits.
CBD is now legal in all 50 U.S. states. Our fast, easy, and safe online ordering takes the guesswork out of buying—plus, you won’t have to worry about being overcharged by retail outlets and novice online sellers. Our products are priced fairly, and quality is assured for each product bearing The Happy Camper name. We believe buying and enjoying CBD should be a transparent and educational process, so don’t hesitate to reach out with questions for our knowledgeable staff.
The Happy Camper specializes in full-spectrum CBD products that contain every last health-boosting property the cannabis plant offers. At the same time, we believe our customers  should understand the differences between the three most commonly sold CBD compounds:

  • Full spectrum CBD contains all of the cannabis plant’s naturally occurring cannabidiol, trace cannabinoids, terpenes, and essential oils. These active compounds work together for a health-benefiting phenomenon known as the “entourage effect.”
  • Broad spectrum CBD contains cannabidiol plus all of the plant’s other compounds—except THC, which is completely removed after the initial extraction. This means it also provides the entourage effect, but without any trace amounts of THC.
  • CBD Isolate is the purest form of cannabidiol that has been pulled from its natural environment and stripped of all its other phytochemicals and nutrients.

Note: Full-spectrum products tend to have an earthier flavor than their CBD counterparts. While we dig that earthy vibe, we recommend shaking the bottle well before each use.
